Everywhere you turn, there are decisions to be made. In fact, decisions or choice making is part of everyday life. There are small decisions to make like what color of socks you will wear today, and there are big ones like which high school you should to be continue to.
Decisions are made because you are faced with needs; physical, emotional, social, economic, cultural, etc.
The decision that you make and how you make it depends on your character, like and dislikes, values, beliefs, and knowlede.
Steps to good decisions making:
1. Indentify your problem.
2. Indentify the result you want from the decision.
3. Think of options. List the pros and cons of each option. What are the consequences of each option to you?
4. Choose an option. Which option feels best? Which does your gut instinct say to choose?
5. Analyze the option. Why does it feel best? What is it about that decision that feels so good? If you can see obvious reasons why, go for it!
There might be times when you feel that you should have made a better choice. Try to make the best of the situation; don’t ever regret your desicion. You can resolve to improve the way you make up your mind in the future. Good luck! :)))
